Is there anyway that i can apprear idle on yahoo messenger even if am chatting ?

is there anyway that is possible ? that i have a good excuse 2 be chattin with some1 while ignorin another without havin 2 appear offline 2 any1 .... if there is plz tell me and be specific :P
