Random misfire code on 98 lumina?

Leaky injectors! Dripping fuel in the engine. The converter usually overheats. It is probably empty already out the back. That would also cause the plugs to misfire. And cause the coils to go out trying to fire the plugs. That's the order of things to check going by the symptoms you discribe. :)
