What is wrong with this egg?

I was about to fry an egg and I cracked it open and instead of yellow yolk it was red. It looked like blood or something like that. It disgusted me! Does anyone know what is wrong with it?? Why it looked that way?? None of the other eggs that I've eaten from the carton looked that way..
